Lalala, here we go again~

I just figured I'd write a new journal. Been a while since I wrote one, after all!

Anyway, guess this'll be a combined rant/update on my life/personal stuff you don't need to read journal.

I've temporarily left uni, since I've been diagnosed with depression. I don't really feel depressed, I just can't be motivated to do anything anymore, but apparently that's enough to get my out of this uni year and get me living back with my family, which I'm grateful for. Of course, now my mum's trying to stop me from roleplaying/cosplaying/etc. since apparently a computer addiction is what caused my lack of motivation, but I've cut back on my computer hours a lot, so hopefully that's helping.

Let's move onto another major plotpoint in my life. I've had my heart broken for the first time. But I think I'm actually okay now. Maybe it's the antidepressants I'm on, or that I'm spending more time with my family and that helps, but I'm not hurting as much as I was this time last week when I found out she'd moved on without bothering to tell me. I just feel kinda numb when I think about my ex more than any other feeling, really. And I know she's happy with her new boyfriend, and they make a cute couple anyway, and I support them, and hopefully soon enough this anger/bitterness will go away and I can embrace them being together. Well, let's hope so. Might still take a long while.


On a more positive note, I'm heading to the Canary Isles tomorrow. So I'm really looking forward to that! Not entirely sure if it'll count as me visiting Spain or not, but the locals will be speaking Spanish, they'll be sangria and Spanish cuisine, so I'll pretend it counts xD Reckon I'll just kick back and chill for the next week, maybe start writing a book.

Because apparently the Times is holding a competition for a childrens' book. I've never written a full-length novel before, but hey, better late than never! I'm buzzing with ideas, so let's hope one sticks around and I can write enough before the deadline.

And since this is deviantart... art wise, I haven't been drawing much lately. Mostly just sketches of cats over and over, nothing fancy or that I've taken my time on. I've been experimenting with Disney style wolves, and I might post pictures of that sometime if I remember.

So, yeah, I guess this has just been a random update~
